Over the course of our 22 week season you will be able to share in a wide variety of fresh in season goodies from here at the farm. {we grow over 30 different kinds of veggies, herbs, and fruit: many are heirloom and/or unusual varieties } During the course of the season they will be available for pick up at the Durango Farmers Market, Mancos and or Dolores Farmers Market or the farm. We are trying to have an option available for Telluride in which we would deliver. (More will come on Telluride)
We offer 2 share options one with milk and one without milk:
Full share: Contains a good amount of in-season veggies. Designed for a small family of 2 adults and 2 children, or a couple that eats more veggies than average. 1 qt of our raw goats milk per week, 1 bread share, one egg share which is 1 dz per week, to this we add and you will also receive what we have going on the farm honey, herbal tea blends, fruits as it comes in, and our handmade tortillas we will throw in every month. If you opt for the non milk share we add extra veggies and goodies to fill in for the milk. (all of our milk shares require a herd share agreement)
Our veggie season starts in May and runs through the middle of October for 22 weeks of fresh, local produce grown over and above the current USDA organic standards, without the use of harmful synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. Over the course of our season we grow over 30 diferent kinds of veggies, herbs, and a bit of fruit. Last year we had Gourmet Lettuce, spicy greens mix, saute greens mix, arugula, pac choy, peas, green beans, micro greens, peppers of all kinds, eggplant, cucumber, tomato, squash of all kinds, carrots, scallions, onions, plums, peaches, apricots, apples and many different herbs.
If you sign up for the full season we give you one week on May 15h free and one week on October 15 free. This is a value of over 70 dollars that you will receive free for making a season commitment.
1/2 Share:
1/2 to 2/3 the amount of veggies in a Full share. Designed to provide enough veggies for two people, a couple with small children, or the single person. You will recieve 1 dozen eggs every other week with milk option you receive 1 qt milk every other week everything else is the same. If you make a season commitment you receive your two weeks free, one week at the beginning of the season and one week at the end of the season. This averages out to about 26.00 per week. The total cost for the 1/2 share is 595.00 for the season
